-Interactive weather map
Zoom Earth is an interactive world weather map and a tracker for storms and typhoons.
Explore the current weather and view the weather forecast for your location with an interactive map of rainfall, wind, temperature, pressure, etc.
With Zoom Earth, you can track the development of typhoons and storms, monitor wildfires and smoke, and stay up to date by viewing satellite images that are updated in near real time.
-Satellite images
Zoom Earth displays weather maps with near real-time satellite imagery. The images are updated every 10 minutes with a delay of between 20 and 40 minutes.
Real-time satellite images from the NOAA GOES and JMA Himawari geostationary satellites are updated every 10 minutes. EUMETSAT weather satellite images are updated every 15 minutes.
High-definition satellite images from NASA's polar-orbiting satellites Aqua and Terra are updated twice daily.
-Rainfall radar and instant forecast
Get to know the storm in advance with our weather radar map, which shows the rain and snow detected by ground Doppler radar in real time, and provides instant short-term weather forecast through radar nowcasting.
-Weather forecast map
Explore beautiful interactive weather visualizations with our stunning global forecast map. Our maps are constantly updated with the latest weather forecast model data from DWD ICON and NOAA/NCEP/NWS GFS. The weather forecast map includes:
Precipitation forecast-rain, snow and cloud cover all in one map.
Wind speed forecast-the average speed and direction of the surface wind.
Gust forecast-the maximum speed of a sudden wind.
Temperature forecast-air temperature 2 meters above the ground.
Apparent temperature prediction-Perceived temperature, also known as thermal index.
Wet bulb temperature forecast-which areas people are at risk of heat stroke.
Relative humidity prediction-air humidity versus temperature.
Dew point prediction-how dry or humid the air is, and the point at which condensation occurs.
Atmospheric pressure forecast-mean atmospheric pressure at sea level. Low pressure areas often bring cloudy and windy weather. High pressure areas are accompanied by clear skies and breezes.
-Hurricane tracking
Use our best-in-class tropical tracking system to track hurricanes from development to Category 5 in real time. The information is clear and understandable. Our hurricane tracking weather maps are updated with the latest data from the NHC,JTWC,NRL, and IBTrACS.
-Wildfire tracking
Wildfires are monitored using our Active Fire and Hotspot overlays, which show very high temperature spots detected by satellites. The results are updated daily based on data from NASA FIRMS. Used in conjunction with our GeoColor satellite imagery, it is possible to view the movement of wildfire smoke and monitor fire weather in near real time.
