Experience the next classic of the public bus world: the Citybus 0405, built between 1987 and 2001, belongs to the last generation of high-floor buses. The successor to the Citybus 0305 was a very popular vehicle that is still in use today due to its ruggedness. This add-on includes two versions of the bus. 12 m standard type (0405) and 18 m articulated type (O405G). They all have realistic three-dimensional models and sound based on recordings of real-world counterparts. Parts like gearbox, ticket machines, and destination displays are created using custom scripts and animations to ensure they behave as realistically as possible. So far, unique among OMSI's add-ons is the dynamic raindrop function, which places accumulated raindrops on the windshield and can actually move. At the same time, the modular construction of the bus ensures a particularly high degree of customizability. Players can choose different doors, ticket machines and other aspects of the vehicle, and can even change them on the fly without having to reload the bus. In addition, every part of the model can be re-colored, so you can use it in any way you like.

当图形设备丢失时，游戏不再卡在加载界面，而是会自动重启（#3232）：若驱动程序在未发出任何通知的情况下停止响应，所有图形资源便会失效，导致每秒产生数百条错误信息，且无法进行任何画面渲染。系统现可识别出这种情况属于“图形设备丢失”，并会触发游戏重启——游戏将恢复至之前的状态，但会以精简后的图形设置运行（这与驱动程序主动报告设备丢失时的处理逻辑一致）。图形设备丢失后的重启过程现已进一步优化，负载更轻（#3323, #3328）：在首次重启时，系统会自动关闭“增强”扩展功能（包括光线追踪、各类光源及灯具阴影、云影、光晕效果等）；若再次发生此类情况，则会从“增强”模式切换至“原版+”（Vanilla+）模式。当图形设备丢失时，导航地图不再因报错而中断：其后台构建进程会静默停止，游戏重启流程则照常进行。日志文件现可指出游戏卡死的位置：若某一帧的处理耗时超过十秒，`game.log` 文件中便会记录相关信息（此后每三十秒会再次记录）。因此，当游戏卡在加载界面的某个阶段时，通过查看日志即可了解当时系统正在执行的操作（#3326）。
